Install Colors-Conky in Ubuntu 12.10/12.04/11.10/any Ubuntu Version/Linux Mint/Fedora/Other Distro's (Unity + Gnome Shell + Other Environments)

Conky is free widget for Linux, It can display any information which you want to show on your desktop. NoobsLab user requested this conky gadget for use with easy installation, After some modifications and changes NoobsLab brings this colors-conky gadget for you. This gadget also includes fonts, which is already included in installation package. You can check other conky widgets collection for linux desktop to make desktop nice. Colors-conky is available for some environments but NoobsLab provides after modification for all Linux desktops like (Gnome Shell, Unity, Cinnamon, Gnome Classic, Mate, and others). Colors-conky shows Cpu usage, Single/Dual/Quad Core Cpu, Memory usage, HDD usage, Net Up and Down Speed, IP Addresses, Time and Date, Kernel version and Cpu uptime.


Install Conky in Ubuntu/Linux Mint open terminal (Press Ctrl+Alt+T) and copy the following 
commands in the Terminal:

Terminal Command:

sudo apt-get install conky conky-all





First of all Download Startup script with following commands:

Terminal Commands:

cd && wget -O .start-conky http://goo.gl/6RrEw
chmod +x .start-conky




Now open Startup Applications > click Add  > New Dialog box will open click on Browse > Now (Press Ctrl+H) see following screenshot.

To install Colors-Conky in Ubuntu/Mint open Terminal (Press Ctrl+Alt+T) and copy the following commands in the Terminal:

Terminal Commands:

cd && wget -O colors-noobslab-1.zip http://goo.gl/GlU7D
unzip colors-noobslab-1.zip && rm colors-noobslab-1.zip





2: Colors-Conky for 2-CPU/Cores


To install Colors-Conky in Ubuntu/Mint open Terminal (Press Ctrl+Alt+T) and copy the following commands in the Terminal:

Terminal Commands:

cd && wget -O colors-noobslab-2.zip http://goo.gl/7X51U
unzip colors-noobslab-2.zip && rm colors-noobslab-2.zip





3: Colors-Conky for 4-CPU/Cores


To install Colors-Conky in Ubuntu/Mint open Terminal (Press Ctrl+Alt+T) and copy the following commands in the Terminal:

Terminal Commands:

cd && wget -O colors-noobslab-4.zip http://goo.gl/VnTRP
unzip colors-noobslab-4.zip && rm colors-noobslab-4.zip
