Install Conky123 in Ubuntu/Linux Mint/Fedora/Others

Install 123-Conky in Ubuntu 12.10/12.04/Any Ubuntu Version/Linux Mint/Fedora/Others Distributions (Unity + Gnome Shell + Other Environments)

Conky is free widget for Linux, It can display any information which you want to show on your desktop. This conky gadget has no name, Author just wrote name conky123. Conky123 is available in three versions Black, Orange and White. Conky123 was available for some environments but NoobsLab provides after modification for all Linux desktops like (Gnome Shell, Unity, Cinnamon, Gnome Classic, Mate, and others), Also added more things to display more info on desktop. 123-conky shows Cpu usage with circle also with text, Memory usage, HDD usage, Net Up/Down Speed, Network IP, Cpu uptime, Linux kernel and version, Processor model, Day, Date, Time and Weather. You can check other conky widgets collection for linux desktop to make desktop nice.

Install Conky in Ubuntu/Linux Mint open terminal (Press Ctrl+Alt+T) and copy the following commands in the Terminal:

Terminal Command:

sudo apt-get install conky conky-all






First of all Download Startup script with following commands:

Terminal Commands:

cd && wget -O .start-conky http://goo.gl/6RrEw
chmod +x .start-conky




Now open Startup Applications > click Add  > New Dialog box will open click on Browse > Now (Press Ctrl+H) see following screenshot.

To install 123-Black-Conky in Ubuntu/Mint open Terminal (Press Ctrl+Alt+T) and copy the following commands in the Terminal:

Terminal Commands:

cd && wget -O 123-noobslab-wlanb.zip http://goo.gl/FizRa
unzip 123-noobslab-wlanb.zip && rm 123-noobslab-wlanb.zip

To install 123-Black-Conky in Ubuntu/Mint open Terminal (Press Ctrl+Alt+T) and copy the following commands in the Terminal:

cd && wget -O 123-noobslab-ethb.zip http://goo.gl/JD4L0
unzip 123-noobslab-ethb.zip && rm 123-noobslab-ethb.zip




2: 123-Conky White

To install 123-White-Conky in Ubuntu/Mint open Terminal (Press Ctrl+Alt+T) and copy the following commands in the Terminal:

cd && wget -O 123w-noobslab-wlan.zip http://goo.gl/OJBD2
unzip 123w-noobslab-wlan.zip && rm 123w-noobslab-wlan.zip

To install 123-White-Conky in Ubuntu/Mint open Terminal (Press Ctrl+Alt+T) and copy the following commands in the Terminal:

3: 123-Conky Orange

To install 123-Orange-Conky in Ubuntu/Mint open Terminal (Press Ctrl+Alt+T) and copy the following commands in the Terminal:

cd && wget -O 123o-noobslab-wlan.zip http://goo.gl/emIyd
unzip 123o-noobslab-wlan.zip && 123o-noobslab-wlan.zip




>> For Ethernet

To install 123-Orange-Conky in Ubuntu/Mint open Terminal (Press Ctrl+Alt+T) and copy the following commands in the Terminal:

Terminal Commands:

cd && wget -O 123o-noobslab-eth.zip http://goo.gl/YlrL9
unzip 123o-noobslab-eth.zip && rm 123o-noobslab-eth.zip





>> Setup Weather: 

First Go to This link: http://weather.noaa.gov , Here you will select your country and city than it will show current weather situation of your country. You will see code in red, just copy four word code.

Now enter following command in terminal, it will open file in text editor. Go to line 79 and change code of Weather:

Terminal Command:

nano ~/.conkyrc




Paste the four word code before temperature word. See the following image

Save and close.
