Speed Up Slowness In Kali Linux

one suggestion to avoid the slowness in nautilus. You know the always showing opening……..

 either update nautilus to 3.8 or do this minor edit:

 leafpad /usr/share/applications/nautilus.desktop

 change

 StartupNotify=true

 to

StartupNotify=false
