Conky is a free, light-weight system monitor for X, that displays any information on your desktop. Some guys are working on Conky gadgets.conky for all Linux environments like: Unity, Gnome Shell, Cinnamon, Mate, Gnome Classic, Xfce and others.

Note: Many users were reporting issues about different conky widgets. Finally all conky errors/bugs has been fixed and made more easy to install on your system. If you face any problem, post comment on related conky page (Please don't report server error, If you get server error just try again after sometime).

Install Conky in Ubuntu/Linux Mint open terminal (Press Ctrl+Alt+T) and copy the following commands in the Terminal:

sudo apt-get install conky conky-all

First of all Download Startup script with following commands:

cd && wget -O .start-conky http://goo.gl/6RrEw
chmod +x .start-conky Now open Startup Applications > click Add > New Dialog box will open click on Browse > Now (Press Ctrl+H) see following screenshot.
